'Hikari Sanehara' (実原 氷里 Sanehara Hikari) is a member of the Photo Club, one of the protagonist's choice of club entry in the game prologue.
Appearance[]
She has messy shoulder length black hair and dark eyes.
Personality[]
She loves photography often going onto the school roof to take pictures of the sky, as well as taking pictures of the scenery of the river, plants and flowers, and of various parts of the school. She's also very knowledgable about photography occasionally offering feedback and advice. She does not like to have her picture taken.
She is a blunt person who is not interested in idle pleasantries.
The reason why she doesn't smile and like smiles comes from her junior high school years, where a group of popular girls suddenly befriended Sanehara and later showed how they just thought that Sanehara's a convenient girl. She rejected them and since then, they started to bully her. After that, one of her classmate's wallet was lost, and they had placed it in her bag, and seeing how their smiles were so much different from what they were before. Thanks to Kazuya she was able to open up more and start to smile openly again.

Etymology[]
- The name Hikari means "ice, hail" (氷) (hi) and "village" (里) (kari).
- Hikari's surname Sanehara means "fruit, good result, truth" (実) (sane) and "field, plain" (原) (hara).
Trivia[]
- Hikari has an older brother who already a college student. Her brother never really showed up on any media, she only mentioned him on the game when Kazuya (controlled by player) asks her whom she usually gives Valentine chocolate to.
- Her eyesight is actually bad and she wears a contact lens.
- She really hates English due to trauma from her childhood's experience.
- She insists for everyone to call her just by "Sanehara". The only one who able to use '-chan' honorific call is Rina Yunoki, who calls Hikari by "Sane-chan". Hikari can't go against Rina since she is big fan of Rina's cooking.
- During the anime's airing on television, there was an animation error when Hikari first shows up near the beginning of the opening where her black stockings are missing. This error was fixed starting with Episode 8 and the subsequent Blu-Ray/DVD releases.
